SOFC technology. SOCA is also intended to be an organization that fosters
information exchange between interested companies on potential distributed
power generation applications for commercial SOFC products.
SOCA is an independent, self-governing, and
self-financed organization with operating expenses covered by membership
dues. SOCA has a Governing Committee elected by and from the membership that
oversees the day-to-day operation of the organization. SOCA has an Administrator
who engages in promotional activities to solicit new members, arranges membership
meetings, writes and distributes meeting minutes and newsletters, accounts
for membership fees and disbursements, and generally administers all aspects
of the organization.
