Jim Harvilla is Manager of Projects in the Energy Technology Department at NYSEG/RG&E.  He is responsible for managing the Distributed Resources Program to evaluate and demonstrate emerging technologies including fuel cell technologies.  He has over 30 years experience in power plant and energy end use technologies.  Jim has worked on power plant siting and  construction, technical evaluations, environmental impacts and operational performance of conventional and emerging electrical power plant technologies.  He has also managed projects funded by the USDOE and USAID.  Jim is a graduate of Binghamton University and served in the US Army - Corp of Engineers.
